13th Annual PCNP Conference held in Lancaster, PA this November
The Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (PCNP) 13th Annual Conference will take place next month in Lancaster PA.
This is a great opportunity for those pursuing a Doctorate of Nurse Practice degree all across the state of Pennsylvania to network, further their knowledge of the field and hold open discussions about the most recent advances in the field of advance nursing practice.
Throughout the three-day event there will be several sessions covering a wide range of topics from diabetes to breast cancer to public policy to diagnosing and treating vaccine-preventable diseases, all specifically tailored to the approach of nurse practitioners.
Beyond the general betterment of knowledge offered to nurse practitioners, segments of sessions will be designated specifically to graduate students advancing their degree and preparing to transition into the next level of their career. These sessions will include topics such as:
- Career Building for the Nurse Practitioner: Finding & Getting Your Ideal Job
- NP Education: Is Post-Graduate Training Needed?
- From Graduate Student to CRNP: Navigating the Transition into Practice
In addition to information sessions, the conference will also include special workshops, breakfast and luncheons, award presentations, raffles and a 50th Anniversary Celebration reception on Friday evening. It should be noted that some of these events require an additional fee.
