Nursing goes mobile thanks to a state-of-the-art field hospital
The concerted campaign to broaden public perception of the nursing profession has included the likes of Johnson & Johnson, an American multinational medical devices, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods manufacturer founded in 1886.
Here and in future posts, we will share a few of the video profiles created by Johnson & Johnson. We’ll start with a video profile of Mary, BSN, RN, a public health nurse from Connecticut who serves as a project director for a regional mobile field hospital program.
“The best part of being a nurse is all of the opportunities,” Mary says, “and the diversity of the profession.”
While her current job title and responsibilities may be unique, Mary’s advancement is typical in terms of merging academic (RN to BSN as one stepping stone) and on-the-job experience.
If seeing Mary and her team in action setting up the mobile hospital peaks your curiosity, here is a look at one company that designs and builds such facilities for both military and homeland clients.
